À propos de Tara

Je m'appelle Tara et je suis étudiante au collégial à Montréal. J'ai commencé à aimer les mathématiques quand j'ai rencontré un très bon professeur quand j'étais en 6e. Depuis, j'ai trouvé ma propre méthode pour étudier les mathématiques. En plus d'enseigner et d'étudier, je suis propriétaire d'une petite entreprise de bijoux et de vêtements. J'aime être actif et organiser ma journée avec toutes les activités que j'aime.

À propos du cours

Je planifie toujours la leçon à l'avance et je m'assure d'avoir suffisamment de méthodes parmi lesquelles mes élèves peuvent choisir ! Ce qui est vraiment amusant en mathématiques, c'est que chaque élève a sa propre façon d'apprendre. Une fois que vous connaissez votre chemin, la lutte sera diminuée. Habituellement, les élèves pensent qu'ils connaissent la leçon mais quand il s'agit de problèmes, ils ne sont pas capables de les résoudre. Ce que je vais m'assurer à chaque fois, c'est si l'élève a bien compris la leçon avant de passer au problème lui-même.

I wanted to improve my math grades for my finals exams so i went to Tara for an hour class twice a week. It really helped me a lot and i got 95% for finals. She is very smart and she knows so many ways to solve the questions. She is indeed a good teacher and a good guide too.

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
When I was in elementary school, I struggled a lot in Math. However, when I was in 6th grade, I had a very good math teacher who was friendly and serious at the same time. Since then, I started loving math and ended up understanding the material better. I started helping my sister, cousin, and friends in the same way and they also became successful in Math.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
In Math, there are many ways that you can solve a problem and also study. Once you find your way to study, you will not have any more struggles!
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
I love tutoring when I see the change in my students. I feel very good that I can see the transformation from a student who has a hard time understanding the material to a student who enjoys doing math.
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
Yes, as I mentioned before, my 6th-grade math teacher as well as a private tutor I had helped me actually love math. They were both passionate about math and after a while, I started loving math and understanding it.
What are your keys to success?
My most important key to success is to approach whatever you are doing with love and find a way to deal with anything you don't like. For example, I don't like physics but I love teaching, drinking tea/coffee, and wearing hoodies, So whenever I want to study Physics, I grab a coffee/tea, I wear a hoodie and I teach myself the material on my whiteboard.
