À propos de Suraiya
I’m Suraiya Afrin Raisa, a Cambridge curriculum–educated tutor with a strong academic background and several years of teaching experience. I achieved an IELTS Academic overall 8.5 (CEFR C2) and an A* in Cambridge O Level English Language, and I’ve been tutoring students in English and IELTS from 2019 to 2024.
My teaching focuses on helping students become confident, accurate, and independent in English. I work on speaking fluency, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening practice, and academic writing. For IELTS students, I teach real exam strategies and give clear feedback so you understand exactly what to improve and how to improve it. Every student gets a structured plan based on their level and goals, so lessons feel organised and progress is easy to track.
Alongside teaching, I have strong academic credentials. I completed a BSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a CGPA 3.86/4.00 and 3rd rank in class, and I’m currently pursuing an MSc in Civil Engineering at École Centrale de Nantes in France under an Elite Scholarship. I’m also a research author on a paper selected for presentation at the U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB), which reflects my strength in academic writing and communication.

Each class is based on your level and goal—speaking, writing, reading, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. For IELTS, we practise real exam tasks with clear feedback and progress tracking. Lessons are available online or in Nantes.
