À propos de Natália
Hi! I'm Natália, an experienced, Cambridge-trained English educator with an international background in language teaching, teacher development and corporate Learning & Development.
I spent nearly two years teaching English at Erin College (formerly Erin School of English) in Dublin, Ireland, where I worked with international students across all proficiency levels, from beginners (A1) to advanced learners (C1+). My experience included General English, Cambridge and IELTS exam preparation, and helping students from different cultural backgrounds develop their language skills and confidence.
Before moving to Ireland, I taught Business English to professionals working for multinational companies, including Credit Suisse, Generali and Fagron. I also worked as an English Teaching Coordinator and language school manager, training and mentoring teachers, developing educational programmes and supporting learners in achieving their goals.
I completed the Cambridge CELTA course and hold Cambridge English qualifications, including CAE (Advanced English). These experiences shaped my teaching approach, combining strong pedagogical foundations with practical, engaging and learner-centred learning experiences.
More recently, I worked in Learning & Development at Deloitte Switzerland, coordinating and facilitating professional development programmes for employees at different career stages, including senior professionals. My work involved supporting training initiatives and contributing to learning experiences in an international corporate environment.
This experience strengthened my understanding of professional communication, leadership development and the interpersonal skills needed to succeed in international business environments — from presenting ideas confidently and communicating with stakeholders to collaborating effectively across cultures.
Having lived and worked in Brazil, Ireland, Denmark and Switzerland, I bring a genuinely international perspective to my teaching. As someone who speaks several languages, I also understand firsthand the challenges and rewards of communicating in another language.
**Why do I teach?**
Because I've seen how much confidence can change when someone begins expressing themselves comfortably in English. Whether it's speaking up in a meeting, preparing for an important interview, passing an English examination or simply enjoying a conversation without overthinking every sentence, those moments of progress are what make teaching so rewarding.
My goal is to make learning English approachable, relevant and genuinely enjoyable, while helping every student develop the skills and confidence to use the language beyond our lessons.

**My teaching approach**
I believe that learning a language should be engaging, practical and meaningful. Drawing on my Cambridge teacher training and experience in English teaching and corporate learning, I combine communicative teaching methods with structured, goal-oriented activities.
Rather than relying exclusively on textbooks, I use real-life scenarios, discussions, authentic materials and interactive exercises to help you apply what you learn.
**What a typical lesson looks like**
We begin by identifying your goals and current level. From there, each lesson is tailored to your progress and typically includes:
- A short warm-up or conversation to build confidence.
- Focused practice on relevant language skills, vocabulary or grammar.
- Practical exercises, role-plays or exam-style activities.
- Constructive feedback and clear suggestions for improvement.
For Business English, we can focus on meetings, presentations, interviews, email communication and professional conversations. For IELTS, FCE and CAE preparation, we'll work on the relevant exam skills, task formats and strategies.
**Who are my lessons for?**
I work with adult learners at different proficiency levels, from those building their foundations to advanced speakers who want to refine their communication skills.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and making measurable progress.
