Hello! My name is Andrea, I'm 22 years old and I'm a Graphic Design student with an entrepreneurial touch, Yes! I'm co-founder of a creative agency and I've been crazy about languages for as long as I can remember. At the moment, I'm in my element with English (a C2!) and I'm fluent in German (a B1!), but I'm still in the battle to improve it! Come on, I can do it!
From my experience as a student I learned that one of the biggest challenges as a student when learning a new language was the methodology with which it was done, since there was a great effort to memorize more, never really understand.
Therefore, since 5 years ago when I started teaching in Mexico, I developed a teaching method called "organic model" that focuses on 4 very important aspects to be able to learn, the model is based on being Harmonic, Congruent, Structured and having a Natural Growth, why? Because just as when we are children we are taught to crawl before walking, in learning as well, we must be in an environment where we feel safe, comfortable, where there is an organization not only with respect to what will be seen on what dates, but to understand the connections that our brain has to make in order to understand the subject 100%; that is, first learn what a verb is before referring to the performance of an action.
I started speaking English since I was 3 years old, for a native question, I started going to bilingual schools since that same age, with daily classes in English; really all my life I had contact with English, 5 years ago and since the pandemic grew with online classes not only to children but also to adults, thus reaching from voice to voice students from Costa Rica, Portugal and the United States.

When we think about learning a new language, it is always something tedious and exciting, but also a whole new world. Knowing a new language or being proficient in the language you are learning could open your doors to a new world full of opportunities.
I used to hate English because I was used to repeating, memorizing, and repeating until I found an excellent teacher who made me fall in love with the language. I got my PET Certificate at 13, my first Certificate at 15, and decided it was just the first step to getting to where I wanted to be, which motivated me to continue preparing until I reached my C2, Native certification. It was a challenge, but it was completely worth it, even every penny was worth it! Haha.
Mastering English has opened many doors for me professionally and academically. The same taste and love I have for it is what has led me to teach. I have been teaching English for more than 5 years, having a boom in the COVID-19 pandemic that facilitated everything online.
I worked as a teacher at Infinity Academy, a language academy in Mexico City. Furthermore, I work very well with children (8 years and up), adults and also for the preparation of Cambridge and TOEFL certifications.
My teaching method is organic, that is to say: congruent, harmonious, natural and structured. Since I think that memorizing or repeating, sometimes only leads us to forget quickly instead of authentically understanding what we are experiencing. I focus on the 4 pillars of languages: Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening, always clarifying grammar from the beginning and adding new vocabulary at the same time.
