À propos de Joshua
I've taught for 10 years from secondary school right up to master's degree students and train people in the workplace. I've taught physics of sailing to the British Olympic team, university students in 3 British universities (Southampton, Newcastle and Bristol).
I hold a PhD in engineering and professional certifications in Labview, Matlab and SolidWorks. I am also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
In my day job, I'm an engineer for emerging technologies.
This involves coming up with something which functions simply using complicated methods. I have to present the inner workings to people without an engineering background. I enjoy teaching as the two fields complement each other.

I teach by breaking things down into simpler parts and explain each in a few different ways until you feel confident with it.
I will explain concepts then we work through examples with you and build from there.
This can be design, mathematics, software or hardware. In the first lesson we'll talk about which parts you need some help with and make a plan you are happy with.
I'm experienced in teaching engineering, coding, mathematics, mechanics, electronics, measurement science as well as broader skills such as mathematics, statistics, design, research and drawing.
