À propos d'Allie
Hey there, I'm Allie! I'm a passionate teacher with more than 15 years of experience teaching teenagers and adults in the United States and internationally.
I hold a Massachusetts teaching license in History for grades 5–12, an endorsement in Sheltered English Immersion, a TEFL certification, and a degree in History and International Relations. My teaching experience includes History, Geography, Political Science, International Relations, and other Humanities subjects.
I love helping students see how the world connects—how geography shapes history, how cultures influence societies, and how events in one part of the world can affect people somewhere else. Whether you need help with schoolwork, exam preparation, an essay, or simply want to understand the world a little better, I'm here to help you learn with confidence.

I believe the best way to learn about the world is to become curious about it. My goal is to make Geography, History, and International Relations interesting and meaningful by starting with what each student already knows and cares about, then building from there. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and making connections.
I use maps, timelines, visual materials, discussion, case studies, and real-world examples to help students understand the bigger picture rather than simply memorize information.
Lessons are adapted to each student's level and goals. We may begin with a quick review, explore new concepts through discussion or activities, and finish with a recap and questions.
With 15+ years of teaching experience, I am skilled at making complex subjects accessible and finding different ways to explain ideas when something isn't clicking. I have taught teenagers and adults from a variety of backgrounds and learning needs.
I work with middle school, high school, university students, and adults. I can help with coursework, homework, exam preparation, essays, research, or simply exploring Geography, History, International Relations, Social Geography, and the wider Humanities.
