À propos de Charlotte Mathilde Esmée
I’m German-French bilingual and have grown up surrounded by different languages and cultures. English has also been an important part of my life for many years, both academically and personally.
I completed my Matura thesis entirely in English, which gave me extensive experience with academic writing and expressing more complex ideas clearly and precisely. Outside of school, English has also always been the language I naturally gravitate towards for writing in my free time, so I’ve developed a strong and intuitive feel for the language beyond the classroom.
I’ve previously worked as a teacher in a school environment, where I learned how to adapt to different personalities and learning needs and explain things patiently and clearly.
I believe that one of the best ways to truly learn a language is to use it regularly and make it part of your everyday life. That’s exactly the kind of relaxed and encouraging environment I want to create in my lessons.
I’m currently studying Psychology at the University of Bern and would love to help others become more confident and natural when speaking English.

Would you like to feel more confident speaking English and express yourself more naturally ?
My lessons focus mainly on conversation and real-life English. We can talk about topics that genuinely interest you, everyday situations, travel, studies, work or anything else you’d like to discuss.
Along the way, I’ll help you expand your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and become more fluent and confident when speaking. I correct mistakes naturally and explain them when useful, without constantly interrupting the conversation.
Every lesson is adapted to your level, interests and personal goals. My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can speak freely without being afraid of making mistakes.
Thanks to my previous experience working as a teacher, I’m used to adapting to different learning styles and explaining things patiently and clearly.
If needed, I can also explain things in German or French.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel more comfortable speaking English!
