À propos de Jack
I've been playing music for a bit over a decade after being raised in a very creative and musical household. I could always sing, but never felt like I was drawn to music as a profession - until, suddenly, I was. I started out for fun and quickly found that it was, in fact, the thing I was born to do. I started writing songs, wanted to record them, and taught myself everything I needed to know - new instruments, new programs, etc. - so that I could do it.
Ten years later, I've written, performed, recorded and produced seven albums, four of which are under my current artist name, Thalo. In order of proficiency, my competencies are in vocals, guitar, piano, drums, and all other kinds of instruments. If I can make a noise on it, I can play it.

I'm an adaptable tutor with an unconventional approach to playing music. If you've found that traditional music theory education hasn't allowed you to grow more confident and capable with your instrument(s), I can help. If you write music but haven't yet figured out how to make it sound ready for Spotify, I can help. If you just want to learn how to turn vibes into lyrics, again, I can help.
I focus more on how to play/write/record music in a way that feels natural and fun, and not so much on playing what's written down. I'm competent with theory, but I learned how to play by ear. If you're independently motivated to play, and you want someone who can help steer your passion in an achievable, expressive direction, I'm the tutor for you.

Jack is an excellent teacher; he's very patient and kind. Funny too. His conversational style is very accessible and good for business or social interactions alike. I recommend him very highly.
Jack is the most naturally talented musician I have ever met. Melody is like breathing to him, and I listen to his music all the time. Not a single song is bad, or even less than great. He's a natural teacher and has a great way of making complicated concepts feel simple and more accessible.
