Hi,
I was home-schooled, so I studied the entire Edexcel Maths (and Physics) curriculum from my bedroom, at both IGCSE and IAL level. I also passed the Further Maths qualifications.
My results were 9 for maths, 8 for further maths, 9 for biology, 9 for physics and 8 for chemistry at IGCSE level. My IAL results were A* (maths), A* (further maths), A* (physics) and A (french). So, I know how to get the best grades, and I can help you do the same.
One of the keys for me was having an online tutor available at short notice to assist me quickly whenever I was struggling with something, or to help me get through lots of past papers fast without getting stuck.
If you struggle with ADHD, one-to-one sessions can be invaluable to help you maintain focus!
While I'm relatively new to tutoring, and trying to build up some regular students, I'm willing to offer some free and low-cost sessions. Why not give me a try? You have nothing to lose because I won't charge you a penny unless you feel you're getting value for money.
I'm currently taking a year out from my engineering degree studies (after two years), so I have lots of availability, and I can be free at short notice.
I also achieved excellent results (9/9) for biology and chemistry at IGCSE level, and I studied chemistry for a year at IAL level. So, I could potentially support younger students with these subjects too, although I'm mostly offering support in mathematics.
I also speak French, although I'm not familiar with mathematic terms in French.
I'm not opposed to supporting a student elsewhere than online (or at my home), but I'm currently living in canton Uri, and I doubt many English-speaking students live near here. Since I'm currently offering low-cost lessons, it wouldn't be worth my while travelling far.
