Hello, My name is Timur Kolesnikov, and I am a violinist originally from Russia. Born in 2004, I began my musical journey at a young age, eventually graduating in 2022 from the Special Music School (College) under the guidance of Tatiana Tymoshenko. Currently, I am pursuing my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of the renowned violinist and teacher Tatiana Samouil. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to receive recognition at both national and international levels. Among my achievements are: First Prize at the X International Violin Competition named after V.F. Bobylev (Ryazan, Russia) Gold medals at the XV Youth Delphic Games of Russia and the XI Youth Games of CIS Member States Grand Prix at the 5th International Competition of Performing Arts (Penne, Italy) First Prize at the X International Competition "Romanticism: Origins and Horizons" (Moscow, Russia) Second Prize at the International Competition "Grand Prix of Golden Talents" (Orenburg, Russia) Winner of the I All-Russian Competition for Scholarship Holders of the "New Names" Foundation (Moscow, Russia) I have also had the privilege of learning from and working with some of the greatest musicians of our time, including Viktor Tretyakov, Maxim Vengerov, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Isabelle van Keulen, and, of course, Tatiana Samouil. As a performer, I have had the honor of collaborating with prestigious ensembles such as the Academic Symphony Orchestras of Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Lipetsk, and Belgorod, as well as the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra. Each performance is an opportunity to share my passion for music and connect with audiences on a deep emotional level. I am excited to continue my journey, striving to grow as an artist and share the transformative power of music with the world.
