I have a master’s degree in mathematics and over 10 years of tutoring experience with school and undergraduate students.
During the first classes, I assess the level of student and find the topics they have difficulties with. Then, we fill the gaps, catch up with the curriculum, broaden the scope, and at all times, I am giving motivation by referring to real-life applications of this knowledge. All children are talented – sometimes they just need an extra explanation or motivation. I help them acquire a comprehensive understanding of the subject in case they have partial or fragmented knowledge. For talented students, I give more challenging tasks to develop out-of-the-box thinking.
