I am Sumeet, and I am passionate about finance, technology, and analytics. I am an MBA graduate from a top business school in the United States (Emory University - Goizueta Business School).
I write a popular blog on personal finance. My blog and I have been mentioned on popular global websites such as the "US News And World Report", "Yahoo Finance", "Debt.org", "StartupNation" etc.
I have also created online courses on finance, investing, tips on starting an online business, and technology. I have more than 7500+ students enrolled in my courses on various online platforms.
Why I started creating content on finance?
The more I talk to people, the more I am shocked to learn about the state of financial awareness. I reflected back on my own life and realized that there’s little to no formal education provided in schools (and even colleges) regarding apparently the most important aspect of adult life – finance! Holding on to credit card debt at an 18% interest rate while keeping cash in a savings account at 0.01%! It’s appalling!
Everyone’s situation is different, and for some, it may be difficult to do things differently than what they are doing right now. That’s fair, I understand that and respect that. But, I’m confident that a few minor tweaks in money management strategy can go a long way.
