À propos de Lamia
I am a native French speaker, a Sciences Po Paris graduate and hold a PhD in Political Science. I have taught at several higher education institutions, in both French and English.
I also have over fifteen years of experience in international cooperation, working with people from a wide range of countries, cultures and professional backgrounds. This has made me particularly comfortable working with international students and professionals and adapting to different needs and ways of communicating.
My approach is supportive and tailored to each student’s goals and pace. I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, experimenting with the language and learning from mistakes.
I am fluent in English and Moroccan Arabic (Darija), so I can also use these languages when helpful, particularly with beginners.

I tailor each lesson to your level, goals and interests. Depending on what you want to achieve, we can work on speaking, listening and writing, build confidence in conversation, improve your pronunciation, or focus on French for professional or academic settings.
Complete beginners are very welcome. If you are starting from scratch, we can focus on the practical French you need for everyday life in France: going shopping, making appointments, getting around, dealing with basic administrative tasks and gradually feeling more comfortable speaking French in daily situations.
I like to make French a living language, using topics and materials that genuinely interest you: newspaper articles, podcasts, films and series, literature, songs, current events or subjects related to your professional interests. I also use memorisation techniques adapted to your learning style to help you build vocabulary progressively. These materials are a way not only to learn the language, but also to explore French culture — even at beginner level.
If you need French for your studies or professional life, I can tailor our lessons to your field or sector. For example, I can help you prepare for a meeting, presentation or oral exam; structure and express complex ideas clearly; or develop your ability to present a project, make an argument, express nuance and interact confidently with French-speaking colleagues or audiences.
Pour les étudiants et professionnels qui parlent déjà français, les cours peuvent bien sûr se dérouler entièrement en français. Nous pouvons travailler aussi bien la conversation et la compréhension que l’expression écrite, le français professionnel ou universitaire, en fonction de vos objectifs.
