I highly recommend Ines to both adults and children. She has been giving French lessons to both me and my 9 year old daughter, and the experience has been wonderful!
Although we both had lessons, our needs were very different: I already had some knowledge of French and wanted to improve my fluency and conversational skills, but my daughter was a beginner, and I also wanted her to develop a connection with French culture, since her father is French and she regularly spends school holidays in France visiting family. Ines tailored each of our lessons accordingly.
My daughter's progress has been remarkable: she gained confidence, and seemed to truly look forward to her classes.
I have ADHD, and I was particularly impressed by the way Ines adapted the lessons to keep me engaged, incorporating visuals, flashcards, music, etc. She often introduced topics that matched my interests which also made a huge difference, helping me stay focused and motivated.She's a genuinely thoughtful person, with whom you can discuss anything, from art to psychology.
I believe Ines is a native speaker of both Portuguese and French, but we also had some exchanges in English which she speaks fluently. She's reliable and professional but, most importantly, she creates a comfortable and engaging learning environment.
