À propos de Natalia
I've been studying English since I was five, which essentially makes me a thirteen-year veteran on the subject. I've translated many articles from a variety of fields, but mostly Humanities and Social Sciences, from English to one of the four languages I speak and vice-versa, as well as poetry and literary works.
A huge milestone I proud myself in is when one of my students, starting from absolute zero in the language, won her local English Olympics, taking first place in the competition a year after she began taking my lessons.

It’s been a long time since, during yet another school English lesson, I’ve asked myself, “Why, exactly, should we learn so much theory? Why have these boring, black-and-white textbooks that make me rather fall asleep than motivate me towards knowledge and learning? Why is so little time devoted to _actual_ practice?” That’s why, after having independently learned the language up to a C1.2 level, I decided to develop the method I used myself to teach others that English can be just as fun as riding a bike.
A typical lesson I give is strongly based on dialogue and discussion. The topics we choose are almost always individual, relevant to both the student’s level and their goals in the language learning process. With kids, for instance, I often take their favourite cartoons and explain the topics that we’re studying by using them and what they do as an example. I also offer them to watch these cartoons in English, so that we can explore the themes that are present there, both grammatical and lexical, or the story itself - all in English.
I also employ a variety of other resources in our lessons - articles, songs and movies of all genres, books, TV shows, videos, even documentaries, as a way to get into the language as much as possible, but also to get to know fun British and American culture stuff!
Fun thing is, there won’t be any grammar tables or stone cold theory - we'll immediately incorporate what we’ve learned into practice. However, if someone does prefer the “textbook method”, I can always adapt the programme - it’s all up to you and your preferences!
These lessons are for those who’d like to develop their skills in speaking, but also listening, writing, reading, and much more - slang, accents, local expressions, you name it - in a fun and engaging way. All that so as to keep the language alive and well, but also constantly evolving and developing. Whether you are a child or an adult, if you’d like to raise your English game from any level to a B2 or higher - welcome!

She's the best English teacher that I've ever had. I understood so many things that I didn't get when I studied them at school, even the boring topics like tenses and conditionals. I didn't even realise that we were studying them!She explains very well. Also, she can change her accent and vocabulary to British or American, that's cool. When we have our lessons, I forget about time, because she always lets me speak about things that I like, like my favourite movie, she watched it specially to talk about it with me, that's amazing.
