Hi there! I'm Amanda and I am a Yoga Alliance registered teacher.
What is Yoga and who is yoga for?
Contrary to popular belief, Yoga is not just a stretching or flexibility routine!
Yoga is a wonderfully holistic activity which EVERYONE, regardless of age, shape, disability, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or income level, can incorporate into their daily routine, providing a much-needed antidote to the stresses of modern day life.
What are the benefits of yoga?
With regular practice the physical and phsychological benefits of yoga are immense: increased flexibility and strength, improved posture and circulation and a sense of inner calm, heightened focus and self-reliance - and that's to name just a few! Once you initiate the yoga journey and experience for yourself enhanced levels of vitality and wellbeing, you will be sure to keep yoga in your life.

What methodology do I follow?
I aim to teach what I describe as "personalised, adaptive and progressive" yoga. The focus of my sessions is weaving mindfulness and conscious movement, the aim being to bring peace to the mind and freedom to the body.
I understand some people are not that into the spiritual practice of yoga, and that is totally fine! I can adapt myself to your needs; from a super sweaty power yoga class to a calm and meditative restorative practice!
I teach different styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Meditation! But if you do not know what they all mean not to worry, I'll guide you so you can find the most suitable practice!
