À propos de Lucy
I have been producing music for nearly 20 years. Currently, I am in the process of producing, writing, and recording my own debut album as a pop artist under the name Marilu. This means I am dealing with the same creative challenges you are every single day.
I am a graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I specialized as a producer, singer, songwriter, and pianist. This background allows me to combine deep musical knowledge with modern technical skills.
I don't just teach software; I teach music. Because I am an active artist, I understand the importance of workflow and "vibe." I am here to help you develop your ears and give you the confidence to take full control of your own recording process.

From Beatmaking to Full Song Production:
Whether you want to create hard-hitting beats or craft polished, full-length songs, I am here to help you navigate the creative and technical world of music production. With two decades of experience, I offer a professional perspective on how to turn a raw idea into a finished track.
What We Can Do Together:
Logic Pro X Expertise: As my primary DAW, I can teach you every detail of Logic Pro X, from sound design to the final mix.
Production Consultant: If you work in a different DAW (such as Ableton or FL Studio), I can act as your Artistic Consultant. I will guide you through arrangement, instrumentation, and professional production techniques while you operate your preferred software.
Genre-Fluid Creativity: Every genre is welcome. My goal is to help you find the specific sound that fits your project.
The Full Workflow: We can dive into MIDI programming, vocal recording, mixing, and how to give your tracks that "professional" edge.
Requirements for the Lessons:
Since production is a hands-on craft, these lessons take place at your location. It is important that you have:
1. A home studio setup (computer and DAW).
2. A pair of reliable speakers or studio headphones.
3. An extra chair for me so we can work together! :)
