À propos de Carla
Hello!!! My name is Carla, I’m originally from Spain and I have been connected to the water my whole life. I am a certified swimming coach by the Spanish Swimming Federation, I hold a Swiss first aid certification and a Master’s degree in teacher training.
I grew up in a family strongly connected to sport, where movement and an active lifestyle have always been part of everyday life. Water has always been my natural environment, although I am also passionate about sports such as triathlon.
Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to train and swim in different countries and multicultural environments, including Mexico, the United States, England, France, Spain and now Switzerland. These experiences have shaped both my approach to swimming and my way of teaching.
I have also worked extensively as a swimming instructor, learning from different methodologies and, most importantly, from the people I have taught. This has allowed me to develop a flexible, empathetic and personalized approach, adapting each session to the needs and goals of every swimmer.

I offer personalized swimming sessions adapted to your level, goals and experience in the water. Whether you are starting from zero, looking to improve your technique or aiming for specific performance goals, each session is designed to help you progress in a safe and effective way.
Lessons can be conducted in English, Spanish, French or in a bilingual format, depending on your preference.
• Learning to swim
For both children and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced swimmers. Sessions are based on a structured and progressive methodology, focusing on building confidence in the water, improving technique and ensuring long-term development. Special attention is given to overcoming fear and feeling comfortable in the aquatic environment.
• Health & wellbeing swimming
Sessions focused on injury prevention, recovery, mobility and body awareness. The water is used as a safe and low-impact environment to reduce pain, improve movement and support overall wellbeing. Ideal for those returning to activity or looking for a healthier way to train.
• Training & performance
For swimmers who want to improve their level, prepare for competitions or follow structured training. Sessions include technique correction, endurance work and personalized planning adapted to your objectives and physical condition.
• Open water introduction/training
Discover open water swimming in the lake in a safe and progressive way. Learn how to adapt your technique, manage your breathing and build confidence outside the pool, while enjoying one of Lausanne’s most unique environments.
Each session is fully personalized, with a strong focus on technique, body awareness and enjoyment in the water.
