As an IB graduate I achieved a 40, placing me within the top 9% of graduates while studying higher level Physics, Maths AI, and Economics. As proof of my proficiency in math and economics I was one of less than 15 students who received an A for my interdisciplinary extended essay which incorporated the HL syllabi of Economics and math AI. I also achieved a 6 in HL physics as a result of several tutoring courses in combination with my knowledge from SL chemistry.
My academic ability comes from my ability to thoroughly comprehend fundamental concepts and critically asses problems and their respective solutions.
I have a history teaching students with learning impairments which taught me the importance of dissecting problems into a digestible pieces.

My approach is personalised learning, helping students with any confusions they may have from class to while analysing strengths and weaknesses. By recognising these strengths and weaknesses I can adapt lessons to optimise their growth. A key technique I use while teaching is a Socratic approach, where I guide the learner when necessary but avoid giving the answer. This approach is essential in developing new ways of thinking about maths and confidence in exam scenarios.
My lessons would be best suited for IB students in AI maths both HL and SL and students studying SL AA Maths. My greatest strengths are in statistics, probability, and solving real world math problems.
