I’m a TEFL-certified, Massachusetts-licensed teacher with 15 years of experience teaching teenagers and adults. I’ve taught English learners from a wide range of backgrounds, as well as History, Geography, writing, and literature.
My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can build your English skills while feeling comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing yourself. Every lesson is personalized to your goals, interests, and level, with a focus on practical communication and building confidence.

I believe the best way to improve English is to actually use it. My lessons are personalized, conversation-focused, and built around your goals, interests, and current level.
In a typical lesson, we’ll begin with conversation so I can see what you already do well and where you may need support. From there, I’ll introduce a short, targeted lesson based on what I notice—whether that’s grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, writing, or another specific skill. We’ll practice it together and then return to conversation so you can use the new skill naturally.
I have 15 years of teaching experience with teenagers and adults, and I am both TEFL-certified and a Massachusetts-licensed teacher. I have taught English learners from a wide range of backgrounds and levels, and I especially enjoy helping students become more confident expressing their ideas in English.
My lessons are not based on a rigid textbook or one-size-fits-all curriculum. I adapt lessons to the student in front of me and use real-world topics, discussion, questions, and your own interests to make learning useful and engaging.
Lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, whether you want to improve everyday conversation, build confidence, strengthen grammar and vocabulary, prepare for academic work, improve writing, or simply feel more comfortable using English.
Most importantly, mistakes are welcome! They give us something to work with. My goal is for you to leave each lesson feeling that you have learned something useful—and that you can actually use it.
