À propos de Jake
I'm from Sydney, Australia but currently live in Montpellier, France.
While I didn't really get started in the gym until my early twenties, I grew up hyperactive, trying a ton of different sports. I've done rock climbing, horse riding, football, Aikido, Judo, Filipino Arnis, Muay Thai, yoga and salsa dancing (some of these were more recent!).
All my experience in sport has taught me that being able to move well is just about the best feeling in the world. I train in the gym according to this principle; I want to feel good and move well first, look good second.
This is also my motto as a coach; I aim not just to help my clients look their best, but feel their best too!

I'm Jake! An English speaking Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning coach living in Montpellier, France. I offer both in-person and online fitness sessions, typically lasting an hour.
My coaching style is relaxed and supportive, but I'll still push you! I believe fitness is supposed to feel good and aim to help my clients feel comfortable in the gym and enjoy the process.
I have experience helping clients achieve their goals across most areas of fitness, but have special expertise in Strength and Conditioning for sport. I also have an extensive background in martial arts (Aikido, Filipino Arnis and Muay Thai) as well as yoga.
